I plan on attending some days of the reunion. However I had childhood polio and climbed that hill at W&L two or three times a day with a steel brace on my right leg. Now fifty years later I have post polio syndrome. I use a power wheelchair and use a portable ventilator for pulmonary/respiratory support due to weakened respiratory muscles. In order to attend the reunion I will require a handicappted room in an accessible hotel or bread and breakfast. Five years ago I stayed in a near by Bread and Breakfast, but I was uanable to sleep because the bed was so high. Thus, I left the next day. I would like to be able to stay this time. I would appreciate any advice you might share.

      Henry,

Sorry for the late reply. The Hampton Inn where you are staying is handicapped accessible so you should have a much better stay. We are glad you are making the return trip to Lexington.

      Best,
